Bubbles to Blow – A Children’s Story of Resilience

Bubbles to Blow was inspired by Cheri Pearson’s youngest daughter who had daily mishaps at three years old.  It was written in 2007.  She provided illustrators a picture of her daughter and details on how each storyboard could coincide with the text.  She worked closely with an artist in Las Cruces, New Mexico to illustrate the book.  However, that collaboration fell through.  Subsequently, she worked with an illustrator from England who moved to Oregon and was unable to continue the work.  The experience of working independently with illustrators is a future blog entry.  Bubbles to Blow will be published in 2024.
